APPLICATIONS
Applications are open monthly. Open and close times can be found HERE. These applications are used largely for getting to know your characters, their starting powers, and their canons for plotting purposes — for this reason, we ask that you post them in the body of the comment, rather than as a link. Please format subject line with: CHARACTER NAME | CANON NAME | RESERVED / NOT RESERVED.
Players may invite one person per application round. Reserves are not required to apply. All word limits are recommendations, not hard limits. Prospective players may not submit more than two applications per round.

Skills: Anything that falls within the realm of normal human ability, no matter how highly trained and refined, goes here. These might be skills that will be helpful for game plots, etc., or that flesh out character background.
Superpowers: In a numbered list, please describe the basic nature and function of your character's superhuman abilities. You should refer to the type/origin of power (i.e., is it genetic?) as well as general presentations and applications of the power.
Characters can come by powers in canon, or they can acquire powers through the confluence. If you need help brainstorming powers, try the random power feature on the Superpower Wiki.
Remember, we have a maximum of four superpowers per character. Our only blanket power nerfs are on dimensional travel; however, depending on the type of power, we may require permissions posts and player plots for the use of certain powers, as appropriate.
Limitations: Please take the time to explain your character's weaknesses and how they could be defeated or harmed by other characters here. All characters must have vulnerabilities; if canon provides you with none, please add some.

Personality —
Please EITHER (1) Summarize your character's personality — including motivations, behaviors, and psychology — in 300-600 words OR (2) Respond to the questions below.
What were your character's most formative experiences?: Please list the 3-5 most important moments in your character's life, drawing from either canon or (if relevant) any CRAU history. Briefly explain how these moments influenced the character's personality and motivations to make them who they are today. Aim for under 400 words. Please write this section with the assumption that the mods are not canon-familiar. CRAU characters should clearly state the name and premise of their former game.
What values, morals, and/or philosophies does your character live by, and how are those beliefs demonstrated? What happens when they have to compromise what they believe in? Aim for 100-200 words.
What is your character afraid of? How does avoiding or preventing these fears influence their actions and decisions? Aim for 100-200 words.
What goals does your character have right now? What do they want, and how do they go about getting it? Aim for 100-200 words.
Gameplay —
Areas of Interest / Brainstorming: How do you see your character's motivations translating to the game setting? What goals do you see them pursuing, or what areas of the game interest you for them? What personal and interpersonal conflicts are you interested in this character dealing with? Note: this section will not be used in evaluating the application, but as a way of surveying player interest.
