As Montgomery was fairly new to the cult, the information he has to offer isn't as in-depth as it could be. Still, he is extremely thankful to no longer be held captive and to be freed from the cult's vows so he will disclose all he can.

The Battlements of the Shining God believes firmly in predestination. The idea that everything is pre-ordained and is set to follow a set path. This runs directly counter to the Dreamers of the Willow Maiden, who believe firmly that the world should be shaped by people's hopes and dreams. In fact, the deities the groups worship are in contrast to one another.

Their God - not the God Belarus, as is commonly believed - is known to him as the The Lady of Endings. She has spoken directly to some of their members, telling them the path they were meant to walk and how they were meant to shape the future of this world.

The Battlements have been around for a long time, but this is the first time they have actively recruited. There may be opportunities for Starfallen to join their ranks, but they have to cover their tracks well because they are enemy number one.

This is because the Starfallen are not in the plan for this world. They are the first major deviation that could not be quickly corrected, and their arrival completely changed the course - and the very nature - of this world. This is not the first time they've tried to correct the world when it seemed to veer off-course, but it is the first time that they can't fix it by just killing someone or doing some freaky magic.

Montgomery will say upfront that the Starfallen have thrown their world completely off track, hell, maybe the whole damn universe is out of whack because they're here now. Not just here, but... tied here. Grafted onto here like they belong here. He doesn't understand the specifics, but he does understand that the leaders are amassing power to try to undo it.

The last thing he will say is that they should be careful. They can trust the Guilds - the people who made the Guilds, at least - but they should be careful around anybody else in power.
