River is maintaining a civilian identity and only disclosing powers to friends, but it is not public knowledge. She has not taken on a hero identity, rather more interested in laying low for now and trying to solve the mystery of how everyone came to be here.

River would pick the most challenging institution to teach for. Since she currently lives in Excelsior, she would set up her dance studio there.
