Hey, Laws! We love this idea.

The fastest option for Tony to get his nonprofit off the ground is to take advantage of the doors that his membership in the Guardian Alliance opens for him. The Alliance name carries weight, providing him with the permits and funds to pull something like this off. Their credentials and reputation mean that his nonprofit will have many eager donors, and they'll easily be able to secure a space with a workshop for his nonprofit to operate out of. Despite this, it might take a few months before he has sufficient donations to his workshop to accrue the high-end equipment he's used to. Another limitation of this option is that the nonprofit would be intrinsically associated with the Alliance in public opinion, which means they'd have some stake in its operations.

If he doesn't want to rely on the GA and its name whatsoever, Frances Starling will assist him as best she can. Frances is an incredibly overworked lawyer who has no time for heroes but significant investment in making the world a better place without relying on the Alliance. She can put him in contact with other human and metahuman rights associates, and they may be able to assist him in getting his company off the ground — provided he presents a thorough business model and is able to offer services beneficial to their causes. Under this approach, he may need to open up a for-profit business to fund the nonprofit until the nonprofit is able to stand on its own, and he'll likely spend more time waiting to accrue the finances to secure high-end equipment. If he starts small, visibly doing charity work and selling his services to existing groups, he may be able to quickly secure the connections needed.

Let us know which option is most interesting to you and/or if you have any further questions!
